I'm Going To Be On Television

Or at least the back of my head is. A subsidiary of my current company is filming a Subway commercial in my office this week. Big Deal. Personally, Subway hasn't been good since they dropped the Cold Cut Combo Kid's Meal for $1.99. Jersey Mike's is far superior, and even though I have had a negative attitude towards Quizno's (I Don't think toasting a sub should cost $2 above normal sub prices), but they aren't that bad.

Subway makes me sick just looking at it. Their stores are outdated and therefore carry a feeling of uncleanliness. The sandwhich meat is probably a grade below supermarket brand cold cuts. They only thing missing from their bologna is that lovely red casing around it. Yesterday they were preparing all the fake subs in our kitchen. You know how the food on commercials looks so much better than what you actually order? Not these. The kitchen smelled like death covered in Seafood Delight.

I had thought about ambushing the shoot - showing up in Quizno's gear head to toe or some other competitor. I decided against it, one because I'm too lazy to go into a Quizno's and ask for a shirt and two I don't think it would make it into the commercial anyway. Besides, I really just don't care about it (at least care any more than posting about it).
